“Akwaaba” is a Twi word that literally means “welcome”. It is often said to those who come from outside Ghana, or traveled from a far location at the end of their journey. When a foreigner visits Ghana, people greet them by saying “Akwaaba”.

This design was inspired by traditional Ghanaian Kente cloth.

The socks are 90% Cotton, 8% Polyamide, and 2% Elastan.
